SUGAR, YES PLEASE!

Soft drinks and other high sugar drinks are well-known all over the world. In the United States, coca cola is one of the most popular beverages because the coca factories and selling markets. Moreover, they are very addictive because of the containment of caffeine and substantial sugar within it,. Beyond all doubt, people can not live without coca cola. Therefore, I agree the selling of coke are legal to everywhere and to everyone. Sugar, yes please!
Despite the fact that coke can eradicate the working system in our body, people still have the free rights to do anything they want. Some people believe school cafeteria should stop selling soft drinks because of the addiction, I don’t agree. I think this is a great lesson to teach people how to self discipline and self awareness. People need to know the damage of the soft drinks throughout the process instead of forcing them. One day, they will know soft drinks are pernicious, they will learn the lesson through the anguish of not knowing how to self control, and they will stop drinking those addictive drinks. Sugar, yes please!

What Are We Living For

What are we living for? When I was young, I always think about why do I live in this body rather than someone else's body? Why do people on the Earth can't speak the same language? Why do the students have to go school? Why can't children making their own money by having a job? Why can't people get marry at age of 12? Why can't people have only one emotion for their whole lives? Why do people have the seven deadly sins? When people living in this world, the society gives them all the seven deadly sins. We have no choice to reject the seven deadly sins, and we have no rights to obliterate all those sins. Human beings are born benevolence, they are naturally good. However, is the society makes human evil and makes human different. People have the sense of pride, greed, envy, lust, wrath, gluttony, and sloth. Human often crimes because of those things. Human wants the power and money. And that's the only things that they care. That's why we had so many wars that fought because of wealth and power. However, those things weren't worth it because time hold for everything. Time didn't last forever, but it doesn't mean it wasn't worth it. This world fills with all sins, and the only thing that we can do is to survive. We are living for survival. We are living for hope. We are living for today.

My Christmas break

This year, for my Christmas break, I had a really good time. Even though it took about six hours for flying by plane, I was very excited for this trip. This trip was incredible and worthwhile because I think there is nothing else that can be better than the Mayans’ temples and pyramids. I really enjoyed the history of Maya; however, the environments around the great wonders were very different from the book that I had seen. I was a little disappointed. During the Christmas Eve, we had a great feast in a Mexican-Chinese restaurant, unfortunately, it was more likely to the Mexican flavor. Besides the Mayans’ wonders, I had seen a phenomenal cataract inside the forest. Under the cataract, there was a beautiful lake. The lake looked like a huge piece of jade, and the surface of the lake was placid and smooth. Moreover, we went to Guatemala for only one day because of the greatest temple-Tikal. Definitely, Tikal culture can be one of the oldest and strongest empire of all the civilization in the central America. It has total six temples in the city of Tikal, and each one of them are grandiose and phenomenal. It is a very interesting fact that in Mayans' history, it divides in three periods, per-classic period (2500B.C.-250A.D.), classic period (250-900A.D.), and post classic period (900-1500A.D.). Nevertheless, pleasures and time are ephemeral, we only had ten days to enjoy and mingle this culture. All in all, I had seen all kinds of landscapes, but the grandiose pyramids were the best.

I am thankful for our ELL class. I am thankful for all the students, all my friends. For this blog, I am going to say some thankful words for each one of our member. Arkadiy, my best friend, you are very good at sports. You looks like an "athletics giant" who is very good at golf, soccer, skiing, basketball.... Thank you because you and Egor were always arguing with Mrs. B which gives us the chance to have less homework and stress. Egor, my best friend, you are very funny. You are a brave man who always challenge oneself. Thank you because you had made our ELL class not boring any more. Ivan, my best friend, MVP in our ELL class. Thank you, I really enjoy to team with you and always being the best team in our class. Jake, my best friend, you are very special. You are a person who always listens different music, plays different games, does different things than me. Thank you because we always help each other. Leo, my best friend, you are a active person in class, but also a quiet boy when you listen to the music or walk on the street. Thank you because you always influence the people around you with your happy emotion. Nancy, my best friend, you are a quiet person when you talking with English, but an active person when you talking with Chinese. Thank you for being one of the member of our class, the only girl in our class. Son, my best friend, I don't know you very well, but I think you have a placid personality. Thank you for helping and joining us. Steven, my best friend, you are a "Renaissance man" who does the things perfect. Thank you for being my best friend and also being a best opponent for me in our history class. Nihat, my best friend, you are the leader and the only senior in our class. You looks really funny by doing some strange things. Thank you for leading us and giving advice. Young, my best friend, you are a hard worker who always tries to do the best job. Thank you for helping and face timing me to give some advice. Mrs. B, my best friend, you are the only one who has been teaching me for three years. Thank you for giving some advice and correcting my grammar mistakes. Thank you for all!

Live for Today

Time is money. Life is everything. One way or another, we all need to cherish the transitory life because life is easy to waste but hard to gain; therefore, we all shall be live for today. The reason why we should live for today because the only thing that can happen in front of your eyes is the present. Undoubtedly, things will change every seconds, it is same as the river. River, an invincible thing which is a masterpiece made by nature. Time is like the river, it always flows into the end of the world, and it will never be the same in every seconds. Life can be seemed as wind, it travels to every corner of the world. Meanwhile, Your life is part of the wind, whatever the path you choose, the onward volition is always your future. Although you may think your life is imperfect; you may think you past is nothing; you may think you don't have a future, but life is life, it can change every seconds, the thing you can do is to live in the present and wait for the opportunity which you can do it. Let's do our best for today, to be the river, and be the wind, to learn from the past, and receive a better future. Right, the opportunity is in front of you!

Smiling can be a solace. It gives an encouragement and works for any problems if someone gives a smile. It helps to give a good attention to the one you smile to, and also, it helps to let other people to remember your smiles. I always smile, I love to smile, but smile can sometimes make a person stupid.  Some people say that smile is childish, although, it can be a very important emotion, but it not often works for some adult which we called the poker-faced people. Those kind of people are not caring about life, which life is an abundant stress to them. This week, I was working in a temporary project for my English class. This project, as we called the Siddhartha project, gave me a wonderful opportunity to let me be the one of the poker-faced people. At first, I made a plan for my project. I was trying to be indifferent for anything I looked, and anything I learned because is easy to make me smile as by looking from other stuff. What I found out was that to be a poker-faced people, it gives a peaceful time to enjoy and listen the aesthetic world. All in all, I really enjoyed to have a different personality, and I think smiling and not smiling both can have good benefits.

The Renaissance

What a wonderful week! This week, I have learned lots of stuff. Anyway, I am really impressed of my work and oration, especially my history works. I have done a really good job for my history homework and in class writing. The Renaissance, a period that effects me the most because of the artist, humanism, individuism, rebirth, the Black Death.... And also I really like the artist Leonardo de Vinci, he was a kind of man who did things perfectly which a perfect example of art called "the Last Supper." De Vinci as a Renaissance man who had glory for art and science, who was a sculptor, a painter, a astronomer, and a geologist. Anyway, the Renaissance shows the rebirth from the Middle Ages, the new ideas, and exploration for having a better lifetime. It changed the view of politics, society, economy, and religion. But the most important thing that I have learned is whether or not how Important Renaissance is, is a Renaissance a thing? I think not really because two of the greatest Renaissance human were living at the same time according to the history book,but there is a question about the time when they were born. Petrarch was born in 1304, and Montaigne was born in 1533. So is hard to believe that Renaissance has ever existed. Thank you.
